Padua

"Venezia la bella e Padova sua sorella”  ("Venice the beautiful and Padua her sister") is a famous popular saying that extols the cultural and religious wonders that the city of Padua offers all of its visitors.

Rich in history and famous for being the oldest city in the Veneto region, Padua was the cultural capital of the fourteenth century and for this reason, many artists chose it as their inspiration. One example is Giotto, the famous painter.
